2 Tablespoons Butter
1/4 pounds Diced Bacon
1 Chopped Onion
2 cloves Garlic, Minced
1 pound Ground Beef Or Veal
1 cup Chicken Stock
1/2 cups White Wine (you Can Use Red)
2 Tablespoons Tomato Paste
1 can (14 Oz. Size) Italian Style Tomatoes
1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
3/4 teaspoons Salt
1/4 teaspoons Pepper
1/2 cups Heavy Cream
Freshly Shaved Parmesan Cheese, To Serve

Heat the butter and bacon over low heat.

Cook until the bacon renders some fat, about 3 minutes.

Add the onion and cook until soft, about 3 minutes longer.

Add garlic and cook for 1 minute; do not brown.

Stir in the beef and cook just until no longer pink.

Add the stock, wine, tomato paste, tomatoes and seasonings.

Simmer, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens, about 30 minutes.

Stir in the cream and remove from heat.
