Beat egg till lemon-coloerd and add in to butter mix, beating well.

Gradually beat in molasses.

Alternately add in butter-egg mix and buttermilk, a little at a time, to dry ingredients.

Beat well after each addition.

Gently mix in blueberries.

Pour into prepared pan.

Bake for about 30 min, or possibly till toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean.

Remove and cold cake in pan on rack.
