4 quarts. sliced med. cucumbers
2 green peppers, minced
1/3 c. coarse salt
1 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
2 tbsp. mustard seed
6 med. sliced onions
3 cloves garlic
5 c. sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
3 c. cider vinegar

Don't pare cucumbers.

Slice thin.

Add in onion, peppers, whole garlic cloves, and salt.

Cover with cracked ice, mix thoroughly.

Let stand 3 hrs.
