Black Bean Soup

   Cook garlic, onion and carrot in oil in large saucepan, 3 minutes or until onion is soft.

   Stir IN spices and broth.

   Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, 20 minutes.

   Add beans, pasta sauce, hot sauce, and lime juice.

   Cook 10 minutes.

   Allow to cool slightly.

   Blend soup in batches until smooth.

   Return to saucepan, heat through and serve.
