   Beat Large eggs with sugar and vanilla till light and lemon colored.

   Add in juice, and oil, and then the dry ingredients one Tbsp.

   Beat well.

   Variations:NUT CAKE: add in wine instead of the juice, add in one half c. minced nuts and 100 grams of grated bittersweet chocolate

   MARBLE CAKE: Add in 2 Tbspn cocoa to 1/3 of the batter

   SPICE CAKE: add in 2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp, ginger and 1/2 tsp nutmeg

   CHOCOLATE CAKE: add in 1/2 c. cocoa and you can switch thejuice with lowfat milk.

   ORANGE CAKE: add in the grated peel of one orange.

    Optionally, add in raisins.

    Bake for one hour at 350 degrees.
