3 Large eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
2 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
1 1/2 teaspoon salt (or possibly to taste)
1 c. minced dates
1 c. walnuts, not minced

Heat butter in a large saucepan.

Blend in brown sugar and chocolate.

Remove from the heat, beat in Large eggs one at a time.

Add in vanilla.

Sift together flour, baking pwdr and salt.

Gradually blend into the chocolate mix.

Spread in the dates and the nuts.

Place into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 min.
