Big Red Ice Cream

   In a large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and cream. Stir until it is an even consistency. Stir in strawberries. Add Big Red soda right before you are ready to freeze the mix.

   I use a 1.5 quart Cuisinart ice cream maker. Turn the maker on, and pour the mix in. Let it run for 20 - 30 minutes until frozen.

   Note: I used fresh strawberries. Clean and hull about 2 cups of fresh strawberries. Place in a small sauce pan with 1/2 cup water and 1/4 cup sugar. Cook over medium heat. When soft, mash with a potato masher. Cool in the refrigerator. OR you can buy the can of frozen crushed strawberries and use 1 cup of them.
