4 ounce. butter
3 lbs. onions, sliced 1/8 inch thick
1 1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 tbsp. paprika
1 bay leaf
3/4 c. flour
1 c. white wine
2 teaspoon salt
3 quart. beef bouillon
French bread slices
Swiss cheese slices

Saute/fry butter and sliced onions in large soup pot for 1 1/2 hrs.

Add in pepper, paprika, bay leaf, flour, wine, and salt.

Saute/fry for 10 min.

Add in beef bouillon and simmer for 2 hrs.

Adjust color with Kitchen Bouquet.
