Rinse the berries.

Then, add the lemon juice from 1/2 of a lemon, wine, and zest. Stir all of the ingredients together. Continue stirring as the sauce thickens. It takes about 10 minutes for the sauce to thicken.

Pour the sauce into a container (a mason jar works well) and store in the refrigerator.
