2 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. sherry
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. hot chili paste (optional)

1/2 lb. string beans, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
2 scallions, sliced

2 c. steamed rice
