1 lb ground beef
15 ounces tomato sauce
1 teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
3 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces sour cream
3 green onions
2 cups cheddar cheese, grated

Brown ground beef (or turkey or sausage or whatever), drain and add tomato sauce, basil, oregano, salt and pepper.

Meanwhile, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and green onions in a food processor and pulse until onions are chopped to your liking (sauce will turn a luminous shade of green as onions are pulverized).

In a 9x13 pan, layer as follows: sauce, noodles, cheese mixture, sauce, noodles, cheese mixture, sauce, noodles, sauce.

Then sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top.
