Beef In Wine Sauce

   Sprinkle meat lightly with garlic powder.

   Put in heavy casserole or Dutch oven.

   Pour sherry over meat and let marinate for 1 to 2 hours.

   Mix remaining ingredients (except carrots) and pour over meat.

   Mix well.

   Cover and bake in 325u00b0 oven for 2 to 3 hours or until meat is tender.

   Add carrots the last 15 minutes of cooking.
