1 can large grain hominy
3 large onions, sliced
1 bell pepper, chopped
4 Tbsp. cooking oil
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. butter, melted
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1 c. grated cheese
salt and pepper to taste

Fry onion and bell pepper in oil until tender.

Add ground beef and brown; add drained hominy, seasonings, and tomato sauce. Place in greased baking dish.

Prepare sauce by combining melted butter, flour, milk and one-half of the grated cheese.

Cook slowly until thickened, stirring constantly.
