Servings: persons

1 purple onion
1 can lima beans
1 can green beans
1 can yellow wax beans
1 can kidney beans
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. cooking oil
2/3 c. vinegar
1 green pepper
Salt and pepper to taste

Drain all beans well.

Mix sugar, vinegar and oil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
