1 1/4 lbs. grnd meat (beef, turkey, etc.)

1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon warm red pepper flakes

2 c. canned tomatoes with juice

Rice, cooked
Green onions, sliced

Saute/fry onion and garlic in oil till softened.

Add in crumbled meat.

Cook over high heat, stirring till browned.

Add in all (except beans, rice, green onions) remaining ingredients.

Lower heat, simmer covered 30 min, stirring occasionally.

Strain and rinse beans, reserving 1/3 of the liquid.
