Slice squash and zucchini into 1/4 in. pieces, discarding ends. Slice onions thin. Put into bowl with 1 1/2 tbls. Olive Oil, saving remanider of oil. Then add garlic, salt, cumin, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are fully coated. Take foil and brush with remainder of oil. Place mixture into middle of foil, spread out evenly. Take brown sugar and evenly sprinkle over mixture. Take short ends of foil and roll together until top is closed, then take sides and roll towards middle until pouch is completely closed. Place on either the top rack of a two-rack barbecuer or the low-heat outside of a regular barbecue. Cook for approx. 15 minutes, or check to see if squash and zucchini are tender. When done, pull off of barbecue and place on plate. Open foil and serve on plate with a pat of butter if you like.
