Basil Broccoli

   Chop broccoli, including tender part of stems, into 3/4-inch pieces.

   Arrange in a 9-inch glass pie plate with the florets in the middle and the stems around the edge.

   Sprinkle on stock or water.

   Cover with vented plastic wrap; microwave on full power until tender, about 5 minutes.

   Let stand 4 minutes.

   Serve with Leek and Sweet Pepper Toss or Sesame Carrot Sauce.
