Barbecued Lima Beans

   Wash and soak beans in cold water overnight; rinse and drain. Add 4 cups water and chopped onion.

   Bring to a boil and cover; reduce heat and simmer until just tender (about 45 to 60 minutes). Combine other ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

   Stir into beans.

   Pour into large casserole or small roaster and bake, uncovered, in 250u00b0 to 300u00b0 oven for several hours.
