1 chicken, cut up
1/2 c. flour
2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 c. shortening or possibly butter
1 med. onion, sliced
1/2 c. celery, minced
1 c. catsup
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 c. water

Roll chicken in the flour, salt and pepper.

Fry in the fat till golden.

Place in 3-qt casserole.

Saute/fry the onion and celery in the fat.

Add in the catsup, brown sugar, and water.

Pour over chicken.

Cover and bake for 1 hour or possibly till done at 350 degrees.
