Honey; 1/2 tsp Dry Mustard; 1/2 tsp Chili Pwdr; 1 tsp Paprika; 1/8 tsp Black Pepper; 1/8 tsp Warm Pepper Sauce; 1/2 tsp Garlic Pwdr; 1/4 tsp Nutmeg; 1/3 c. Onion grated*; 1 1/2 Tbsp. Cornstarch; 3 Tbsp. Cool Water; 1 Tbsp. Cider Vinegar; 1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice; 1 tsp Grated Lemon Rind

15 ounce Tomato Sauce (pref. low-sodium)
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 c. Honey
1/2 tsp Dry Mustard
1/2 tsp Chili Pwdr
1 tsp Paprika
1/8 tsp Black Pepper
1/8 tsp Warm Pepper Sauce
1/2 tsp Garlic Pwdr
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1/3 c. Onion grated*
1 1/2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
3 Tbsp. Cool Water
1 Tbsp. Cider Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 tsp Grated Lemon Rind

* I use onion paste instead; about 1 Tbsp..

Combine margarine, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, brown sugar, dry mustard, chili pwdr, nutmeg and onion in a heavy saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 15 min.

In a small bowl, blend cornstarch with water till lumps have disappeared.

Add in to sauce mix, stirring with wire whisk till thickened.

Add in cidervinegar, lemon juice, and lemon rind.

simmer, stirring constantly, 5 minuteslonger.

Makes 2 1/2 c., sufficient for basting 5 pounds of chicken breasts.
