1/4 c. butter, softened
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 Large eggs
1 c. mashed banana (about 2)
2 c. Gold Medal flour
2 teaspoon baking pwdr
1/4 teaspoon soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/2 c. minced nuts
Lemon Butter Icing (below)

Mix shortening, butter, sugar, Large eggs and banana.

Stir in remaining ingredients except Lemon Butter Icing.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto lightly greased baking sheet.
