1 c. instant polenta
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
1/2 tsp each salt
1/2 tsp freshly grnd pepper
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 1/2 lb warm Italian link sausage
1/2 c. chicken broth
1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
1 1/2 c. seedless green or possibly red grapes
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly grnd pepper

To prepare polenta, heat water to boil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat.

Pour polenta into boiling water in a thin stream.

Cook, stirring, till soft and thickened, about 5-8 min.

Stir in cheese, butter, salt and pepper.

To prepare sausage, heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add in sausages; cook, turning, till golden, 8-10 min.

Pierce each sausage a few times with a fork during cooking to prevent skin from bursting.

Stir in balsamic vinegar; then add in grapes.
