5 Large Potatoes
1/2 sticks Butter
1/2 cups Flour
7 cups Milk
1 teaspoon Salt, Or To Taste
1/2 teaspoons Pepper Or To Taste
1 bunch Green Onions, Chopped
1/2 pounds Bacon, Fried Crisp And Crumbled
1-1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 cup Sour Cream

Bake 5 large potatoes until tender ( Zap them in the microwave). Cool, peel and chop into small pieces.

Melt the butter in a large Dutch oven and stir in flour to make a roux.

Slowly whisk in the milk over medium heat and bring to almost boiling. Add salt and pepper.

Then put in the potatoes, onions and bacon (you can reserve some of the bacon to sprinkle on the top of each serving).

Stir in the cheese and sour cream. Heat it through until the cheese is melted and the soup is warm.

Sprinkle croutons on the top of each serving. Enjoy!!
