Ingredients: 1 lb. ground beef (lean is good); 1 sm.; 1/2 lg. white onion, finely chopped; 1 tsp. red chili flakes; 2 cloves garlic, minced; 1/4 cup rolled oats; 2 tbsp. evaporated; whole milk; 1 sm. onion; 1/2 lg. white onion, chopped; 1 cup ketchup; 1/2 cup ketchup and 1/2 cup salsa of your choice; 2 tbsp. white vinegar; 1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped; 2 cloves garlic, minced; 1 cup water; 2 tbsp. butter; 2 tbsp. lemon juice; 2 tbsp. Dijon; grainy mustard (not hot dog mustard!!); 2 tbsp. brown sugar; 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce; Salt and black pepper to taste

In a bowl, combine all ingredients together.

Cover bowl and chill for 15 minutes.

Form into desired size meatballs and brown in hot skillet; drain on paper towel.

Arrange in a large baking dish.

Sauce Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan.

Bring to boil, and boil 5 minutes.

Pour sauce over meatballs in baking dish.

Bake uncovered for 1 hour in a 350 degree F oven.

Serve over rice or noodles, or with crusty garlic bread, and a crispy green salad.

This can easily be doubled for a potluck or large gathering.
