   Mix the egg yolks, water and cake mix and place in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350u00b0 for 20 minutes.

   Freeze.

   Put the ice cream over the first layer 1/2-inch from pan edges.

   Freeze.

   Beat the egg whites and cream of tartar. Add the sugar gradually, one tablespoon at a time.

   Beat until stiff, then add to other layers and seal edges.

   Brown meringue. Freeze again.
