Bacon And Herb Seasoner

   Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl; season with salt and freshly grated black pepper.

   Get creative with this herb and bacon mix! Use as a seasoner by tucking under the skin of a whole chicken before roasting; or, sprinkle it over cauliflower florets spread on a baking pan and oiled, then roast in a 375 degree oven until cauliflower is caramelized and tender. Or, sprinkle the mixture into long-simmering meat-based soups or stews. The bacon releases its flavorful fat into chicken as it roasts to act as a powerful moistening agent. No extra butter or olive oil needed. You can vary the herbs, or even add curry powder to taste.
