Ingredients: 1 1/4 cup flour; 3 Tblsp. Water; 1/2 tsp baking soda; 1 - 12 oz package semi-sweet morsels; 1/2 tsp salt; 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract; 1 cup sugar; 3 eggs; 1/2 cup butter or margarine; 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

1 1/4 cup flour
3 Tblsp. Water
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 - 12 oz package semi-sweet morsels
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

In a small bowl combine flour, b.soda, salt and set aside.

In a 2 quart sauce pan combine sugar and butter and water - bring just to a boil.

Take off burner.

Add morsels and vanilla - stir until morsels are melted.

Add eggs to pan one at a time.

Mix well.

Add flour mixture mix.

Add nuts (opt).

Spread into greased 13 x 9 pan.

Bake at 325 degrees for 30 -35 minutes.

Allow to cool before cutting.
