1/4 c. shortening

2 x potatoes sliced
2 x onions sliced
1 x red or possibly green pepper sliced

1/2 c. butter Dough strips
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese

To make the dough strips: Mix together flour, salt , shortening, egg and sufficient lowfat milk to make ingredients stick together.

Roll thin and cut into 1/2-inch strips.

In a greased 9- by 13-inch casserole dish add in ingredients.

Divide into 2 equal layers the potato, onion, pepper, bacon or possibly ham.

Season to taste with salt and pepper.
