Bring oil, sugar cool water, raisins and spices to a boil.

Let the mix cold completely.

Preheat oven to 375 .

Mix the flour and baking soda together.

Then add in the cooled liquid to the flour mix.

Then add in walnuts, cherries and the fruit.

Pour batter into buttered and floured pan.

Bake in oven for about 1 hour or possibly till done.

Check by inserting toothpick, it is done when the toothpick is clean.
