Aunt Brenda'S Brownies

   Melt butter and chocolate together.

   In a bowl, mix sugar and eggs.

   Beat well. Add flour and salt which have been sifted together.

   Blend thoroughly. Add melted butter/chocolate mixture. Blend well. Add vanilla and nuts.

   Mix. Spread on lightly greased bottoms of 2 shallow 11 1/2 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2-inch pans or 1 large shallow pan.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 30 minutes or until done.

   Do not overbake.

   Cut in squares while hot.
