Ingredients: 1 - 11/2 Pounds of your choice cut of ground meat; 1 Container package of Shitake Mushrooms (chopped to small diced size pieces); 2 Cans of sliced or diced Water Chestnuts (if you get sliced you'll need to dice them yourself); 2 Bunches of Green Onion (chopped to small diced size pieces); 1 Jar of Hoison Sauce (located on the ethnic food isle - Asian); 1/4 Cup of Light Brown Sugar; 2 Crushed fresh Garlic Cloves; 1 Head of Iceberg Lettuce; Soy Sauce; Sweet Chili Sauce (Located on the ethic food isle - Asian)

1 - 11/2 Pounds of your choice cut of ground meat
1 Container package of Shitake Mushrooms (chopped to small diced size pieces)
2 Cans of sliced or diced Water Chestnuts (if you get sliced you'll need to dice them yourself)
2 Bunches of Green Onion (chopped to small diced size pieces)
1 Jar of Hoison Sauce (located on the ethnic food isle - Asian)
1/4 Cup of Light Brown Sugar
2 Crushed fresh Garlic Cloves
1 Head of Iceberg Lettuce
Soy Sauce
Sweet Chili Sauce (Located on the ethic food isle - Asian)

Cut off the bottom of the head of Iceberg Lettuce and peal off each leaf to make a bowl for holding the meat mixture. Once you have pulled this apart, place in an unsealed container and put in the refrigerator to keep it from wilting

Mix together in a small bowl, approximately 2-3 Tablespoons of Sweet Chili Sauce and add Soy Sauce to taste. You want the sauce to be a little spicy. This mixture is really your preference.

In a large skillet, preferably a wok type skillet, brown your meat. While the meat is browning, crush the garlic cloves in and mix meat well and continue browning. Drain off the excess fat and replace the meat into the skillet.

With burner set on medium heat, add mushrooms, water chestnuts, green onions and sprinkle around the light brown sugar. Mix together and let cook for about five (5) minutes, stirring often.

Next, add in the jar of Hoison Sauce and mix together thoroughly, making sure that everything is coated with the sauce. Turn heat to Medium-Low and cook, stirring often, for approximately five (5) more minutes or until everything is heated through.
