Ingredients: 1/2 cup Butter, softened; 1/2 cup Shortening; 1 1/2 cup Granulated sugar; 2 each Eggs; 2 tsp Vanilla extract; 1/2 medium Lemon juice from fresh squeezed; 3 cup AP Flour; 1 tsp Baking Soda; 1/4 tsp Salt; 2 tbsp Granulated sugar; 2 tsp Ground cinnamon

1/2 cup Butter, softened
1/2 cup Shortening
1 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
2 each Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla extract
1/2 medium Lemon juice from fresh squeezed
3 cup AP Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Granulated sugar
2 tsp Ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 400F for a conventional oven.

Cream together butter, shortening & sugar.

Add eggs, vanilla and lemon juice.

Sift together dry ingredients, and add to wet batter.

Should clean sides of bowls but not be dry.

Make the sugar/cinnamon mixture.Shape dough into 1in balls and roll into sugar/cinnamon.

Place 2in apart on un-greased baking sheet.

Bake @ 400F for 8-10 minutes.

Remove from baking sheets immediately to cooling racks.
