Raisins; 2 1/4 c. All-purpose flour; 2 tsp Baking soda; 1 Tbsp. Cinnamon; 1/4 tsp Allspice; 1/2 tsp Salt

1 1/2 c. Sweetened applesauce
1/2 c. Shortening
1 c. Sugar
1 pkt (8 ozs.) pitted dates, sliced
4 ounce Minced pecans
1/2 lb Red cherries, halved
1/2 lb Green cherries, halved
2 c. Raisins
2 1/4 c. All-purpose flour
2 tsp Baking soda
1 Tbsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Allspice
1/2 tsp Salt

Grease and flour a tube pan and set aside.

Combine applesauce, shortening and sugar together in a saucepan.

Bring to a boil; boil for 5 min, stirring occasionally.

Combine fruit and nuts in a large bowl, adding flour, soda, salt and spices and stir together.

Mix in cooked mix till well moistened.

Pour into the prepared pan and bake at 275 degrees for 2 hrs or possibly till done.

Cold on a wire rack for 10 min.

Remove from pan and cold completely.
