3 x Large eggs
1 c. minced walnuts
1 jar (15 ounce) applesauce
3 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking pwdr
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil

Mix flour, walnuts, cinnamon, baking soda, salt, baking pwdr, nutmeg and cloves; set aside.

In large bowl, with electric mixer, beat sugar, oil and Large eggs at high speed for 5 min.

Alternately blend in flour mix and applesauce; beat till smooth.

Pour batter into well greased 12 to 14 c. fluted tube dish.

Heat at LOW 10 min and at MEDIUM-HIGH 8 to 9 min, or possibly till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
