1 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves

1/4 c. chopped citron
1/4 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. brewed coffee
