Applesauce Cake

   Heat until hot 1 1/2 cups applesauce (unsweetened).

   Add and mix 2 teaspoons of baking soda.

   Add this mixture to the other ingredients.

   Batter should be very thick.

   Use rest of the flour as needed.

   Grease pans with butter.

   Loaf pan, 45 minutes at 350u00b0. 8x12-inch pan, 30 minutes at 350u00b0, or bake in coffee cans lined with waxed paper for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
