Applesauce Cake

   Blend sugar and cinnamon.

   Grease 10-inch tube pan and dust with about 1 tablespoon of sugar-cinnamon mixture.

   Also sprinkle over with 1 tablespoon chopped nuts.

   Blend cake mix, applesauce and eggs until moistened.

   Blend as directed on package.

   Reserve 2 cups batter.

   Pour remaining batter into pan.

   Sprinkle with remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture and remaining nuts, then add the remaining batter.

   Bake at 350u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes, or until done.

    Cool cake in pan, top side up, for 15 minutes, then invert on serving plate.
