Mix the contents of the special K cookies so that it turns into crumbles. Don't mind if you are still left with some bigger bites (there is no need to create dust, as you want a crumble type of cover for your pie).

You put your pastry in the preheated oven. As it is puff pastry, you will need to cover it with baking paper and dried beans or something heavy. You don't want the pastry to swell up.

After preheating the pastry for about 15 minutes, fill the pastry with the apples, scatter over the sugar and last but not least, cover the apples with the crunched special K cookies.
