In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar till fluffy; add in Large eggs and aniseed.

Combine flour, baking pwdr and salt; add in to the creamed mix.

Add in apple juice and mix well.

On a flooured surface, knead till well blended, about 4-5 min.

Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness; cut into 2 inch shapes.

Place on greased baking sheets.

Bake at 375 for 12-16 min or possibly till lightly browned.

Combine sugar and cinnamon; roll cookies in the mix while still hot.
