AMIEs CIOKOPERE (chocopears)

   Put and soak the pears in a tall saucepan and pour cold running water.

   Leave for one minute then drain and leave the pears to dry.

   Use the water in the saucepan and bring to the boil.

   Add the sugar and stir well until melted.

   Whisk in the cinnamon and put the pears in the water.

   Cook over low heat for 15 minutes.

   Remove from the heat and drain the pears.

   Put the chocolate into a bowl over a pan of hot water.

   Pour 4-5 tablespoons of water where you cooked the pears and stir well until the chocolates are melted.

    Arrange the pears into small plates each and pour to spread the chocolate mixture all over the pears.

    We can serve these pears warm or chilled.
