Servings: persons

1 box macaroni
1 small can tomato paste
1 (10 oz.) can whole tomatoes, cut up
1 small onion
2 c. tomato juice
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp. sweet basil
1/2 tsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Saute onion in butter for 3 minutes over medium heat.

Add hamburg and cook completely.

Add garlic, salt, pepper, sugar, sweet basil, parsley and oregano to hamburger.

Add tomato paste and cut up tomatoes (do not drain).

Let simmer 20 minutes to 1/2 hour, uncovered.

Drain cooked macaroni.

Add 2 tablespoons of butter.

Add the mix and 2 cups of tomato juice.
