In large saucepan, heat soy sauce, 1/2 cup water, and vinegar over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar until dissolved, and then add garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and cayenne pepper. Add 1/2 cup cold water.

Cut ribs individually and place in a large tupperware container. Pour marinade over ribs and let sit overnight.

In the morning, drain and dry ribs and discard marinade. Mix the brown sugar, white sugar, salt, black pepper, and paprika and coat each rib with the rub. Wrap ribs in plastic wrap and let sit in the refridgerator for 4-8 hours.

Remove ribs from plastic wrap and arrange in a roasting pan. Bake at 275 F for 2 hours or until ribs reach an internal temperature of 170 F. Coat with BBQ sauce and transfer to grill on medium heat. Grill until finished.
