Ada'S Meringue Cookies

   Beat egg whites, salt and vanilla until frothy.

   Beat in sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time.

   Beat until very stiff.

   Fold in chips and cornflakes.

   Drop by scant teaspoonful, well apart onto a well-greased cookie sheet.

   Bake in a 350u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

   Cool slightly before removing to cooling rack.
