Chop onion, sweet pepper, and carrot. I leave them fairly large but you can finely dice if you choose.

Add meat, bacon, vegetables, egg, spices, and 1/2 cup A1 sauce. Mix these ingredients together then add breadcrumbs until meatloaf will hold together when shaped.

Spray large loaf pan (can use 9x13 if you don't have a loaf pan). Form meatloaf and cover. Cook covered 45 minutes at 350*.

Take cover off meatloaf, drain excess juice (lots of juice will be made from bacon and vegetables). Cook uncovered an additional 30 minutes.

Brush remaining A.1. on meatloaf and finish cooking last 15 minutes. Allow to sit for 10 minutes after removing from the oven before cooking so juices can set.
