In a large bowl, thoroughly mix 1 1/2 cups flour, salt, sugar and undissolved yeast. Set aside. Combine milk, water and margarine in saucepan.

Gradually add to dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Add 1/2 cup flour. Beat at high speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in enough flour to make soft dough. Turn out onto lightly floured board.

Knead until smooth and elastic, about 5 minutes.

Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover and place in warm place (or set bowl in pan of water at about 100u00b0) for 15 minutes.

Turn dough out onto floured board.

Shape rolls. Cover and let rise in a warm place free from draft for about 15 minutes. Bake at 400u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
