Ingredients: 1 package dried fettuccine (12 oz.); 3 T. butter; 2 medium zucchini, julienned; 1 medium onion, sliced; 1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms (assorted) sliced; 1 1/2 cups ham, thinly sliced; 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped; 2 T. all-purpose flour; 1 can chicken broth (14 oz.); 1/2 cup half and half; 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated; salt and pepper, to taste

1 package dried fettuccine (12 oz.)
3 T. butter
2 medium zucchini, julienned
1 medium onion, sliced
1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms (assorted) sliced
1 1/2 cups ham, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 T. all-purpose flour
1 can chicken broth (14 oz.)
1/2 cup half and half
1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
salt and pepper, to taste

Cook fettuccine following package directions.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, melt 1 T. butter over medium high heat. Add zucchini and saute strips until tender, stirring frequently. Transfer to a bowl. In the same skillet, melt 1 T. butter. Add ham strips and cook until lightly browned. Transfer to bowl with zucchini.

Add onion to skillet and cook until tender. Transfer to bowl with other ingredients.

Melt final tablespoon of butter and saute garlic and mushrooms until tender. Stir in flour until well blended. Gradually stir in broth and cook until thick and bubbly.

Stir in half and half and ham-vegetable mixture. Season with salt and pepper and toss with fettuccine and parmesan.
