Cut loaf bread in half, lengthwise, and place on a cookie sheet

Mix together butter, Mayo, Cheese, and garlic powder in a bowl. Butter should be soft enough to mix, but doesn't need to be melted. Small chunks are good. Very good.

Spread the mix on the two halves of bread, generously.

Here's where you can get creative and add onion, bacon, chives, or any other topping you like. But it's oh-so-good just like it is too.

Stick the bread into the over at about 350 just until the edges are toasty, and everything is melted and gooey.

Also great to make this and then stack warm, freshly cut ham or turkey and then reassemble for an out of this world sub to share... or not.
