6 hero loaves, split
12 thin tomato slices
2 c. (8 oz.) grated sharp Cheddar cheese

In a large skillet, heat butter and saute garlic, onion and green pepper for 5 minutes.

Pour eggs evenly over vegetables in skillet and stir until eggs are scrambled.

Spoon eggs onto bottom of hero loaves. Top with tomato slices and grated cheese. Replace top and serve hot with mixed pickles and carrot sticks.
