1/4 tsp. pepper
2 shakes Tabasco sauce
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. sour cream
1 (9-inch) deep dish pastry shell (unbaked)
1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Heat the butter in a frying pan. Add the onions; saute until the onions are translucent, but not brown.

Pour the mixture into the pastry shell; top with the grated cheese. Bake for 20 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 325u00b0 and bake until the filling is set and the top is golden brown, about 20 minutes more.
