Velvety White Pound Cake

   Cream sugar and Crisco together.

   Add eggs one at a time. Sift flour and add to egg mixture with milk.

   Add vanilla and salt.

   Bake at 325u00b0 in a tube pan for 1 1/2 hours.

   Grease and flour pan before pouring the batter in.
